There are two prevailing influential spirits on Earth, the Spirit of Christ and the spirit of antichrist, they are in complete opposition to each other. This is true not only in the spiritual atmosphere, but can also be perceived in people, organizations, governments and religions. The Bible teaches that you can know the spiritual source by the fruits produced; that is their effect on the Creation and especially people. The influence of these spirits in people is very clear when you recognize the fruit of their words and actions.
“You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. “So then, you will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16-20)
Fruits from Spirit of Christ are; Light, Truth, Abundant Life, Love of God (sacrificial love that originates from God, compassion), the peace of God, the joy of the Lord, and humility.
A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it in abundance. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10:10-11)
Jesus says, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Mat 11:28-30)
Fruits from the antichrist spirit: darkness, deception, death, destruction, hate, (selfish ambition), pride.
Jesus *said to him, “I am the Way, Truth, Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14:6)
A person functioning in the Spirit of Christ is a supernatural disrupter of every evil system. This threat to evil systems is why Christianity is the most persecuted religion and has the most martyrs throughout history. Even with the opposition, Christianity has continued to be the fastest growing religion worldwide since the time Jesus walked the Earth. This is only one of the many proofs that Christianity stands far above any other religion
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
