2 Know Whose You Are – Realize Your Righteous Father– How to Know Truth

What you believe in, is what you live in, and the perspective you see from

Jesus came to reunite us to our Father in the holy relationship we had with Him before the fall. The blood Jesus shed on the cross makes us holy and cleanses our conscience from sin. Jesus reveals the Father. Knowing your Righteous Father helps you understand who you really are.

When Jesus was brought before Pilate, he said some very profound things. Therefore, Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and said to them, “I find no guilt in Him. (John 18:37-38 NASB)

Jesus came to testify or be a witness to truth. Then He said, “Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” The word “of” is especially important. It means out of, from, as spoken of such objects which were before in another. In other words, those who realize that they came out from God hear the voice of Jesus.

This is important because the root of discerning truth and hearing the voice of Jesus is your concept of God and where you came from. Discernment is perfected in your relationship with your Righteous Father. If you believe that you are uniquely created by the God of the universe and He wants you to know Him as Father; It changes your perception of everything. The foundation of Truth revealed to man from God is Jesus Christ.

You have a Spirit, which is your source of life from God, it is eternity in your heart. Your Spirit bears witness to the truth if you are sincere in desiring Truth. If you desire your own truth, what you want to believe, rather than what God believes, you will deceive yourself and live in that deception. Deception is darkness, fear and confusion. Evil people and deceivers will become worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2nd Tim 3:13)

If you desire Truth, the Truth of Jesus Christ will be revealed to you. You will have no excuse when you stand before God having deceived yourself. The Bible says that for those who are heading toward destruction it is because they refused to love the Truth, and so be saved. (2nd Thess 2:10)

One of the titles of Jesus is the Word of God. His voice is the Word of God. When you read and meditate on scriptures from the Bible you are increasing your discernment of knowing His voice. The Holy Bible is also known as the written Word of God.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:27-30 NASB)
