What you believe in, is what you live in, and the perspective you see from.
We are in the Age of Glory, the time when you will come to know your Righteous Father, and who you really are. Your life depends on knowing Truth. This is why the world is in an information war and you are the target. The amount of information available and the conflicting points of views can be overwhelming and confusing.
Discernment is crucial in this time. Discernment is the ability to judge between truth and deception, good and evil. If you are a believer and know that the Bible is true, then you realize that truth and deception have spiritual roots. This is so important because you must consider the source of any information you receive. We now know, that even scientific studies can be manipulated to get a certain outcome. People who are lacking in godly discernment become victims of fear and deception, which is not from God.
This [superficial] wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly (secular), physical (unspiritual), even demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder [unrest, rebellion] and every evil thing and morally degrading practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving deception]. (James 3:15-17)
Knowing truth begins with knowing Jesus. In the Bible the word for knowing someone means an intimate spiritual experience. You can know about Jesus, without really knowing Him. Those who follow Jesus know His voice. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27, NKJV) The voice of Jesus is the sound of truth because He is Truth.
Jesus says, I AM the Path, true Reality, and eternal Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6). Jesus is Truth, His voice is the sound of truth.
For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth are realized through Jesus Christ. (John 1:17)
Jesus came to reunite us to our Father in the holy relationship we had with Him before the fall. The blood Jesus shed on the cross makes us holy and cleanses our conscience from sin. Jesus also came to Earth, to reveal the Father and who you really are.
