Kingdom Thoughts (John 18:37) – Jesus the King Reveals Truth

Kingdom thoughts – 2020.12.21 (John 18:37) – Jesus the King Reveals Truth

Then Pilate responded, “Oh, so then you are a king?” “You are right.” Jesus said, “I was born a King, and I have come into this world to prove what truth really is. And everyone who loves the truth will receive my words.” (John 18:37 TPT)

As I look back on 2020 the thing the Lord has emphasized the most this year to me is the extreme difference between truth (light) and deception (darkness). We are in a clash between two kingdoms. The onslaught of deception through the media and world governments has been overwhelming at times. We have been hit with every kind of deception including, medical, scientific, and a new form of logic that requires we deny common sense. Many have been taken captive by deception. Some to the point of suicide, no longer able to see any hope in their life.

I have often had to retreat from false information that was invading my mind and recover in the peace, hope and comfort of the scriptures, in the presence of God. I and our family have survived this year by learning to escape corrupt government oppression through realization that we are in the Kingdom of God. We are not subject to this realm; we are subject to our King and His Kingdom. The Kingdom of God has been a major theme the Lord has emphasized this whole year.

I believe that from now on the Kingdom of God will become a major focus for all believers. The King of Glory enters your heart as you invite Him. He will then establish His Kingdom in your heart as you allow Him and cooperate with Him. You then become a portal for His glory to flow through into this world.

So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you ageless doors of destiny! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you. You ask, “Who is this Glory-King?” The Lord, armed and ready for battle, the Mighty One, invincible in every way! So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Fling wide, you ageless doors of destiny! Here he comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in. (Psalms 24:7-9 TPT)

Christmas is about our King who was born into this world to rescue us. Jesus told Pilate He was born a King, but His Kingdom was not of this realm. He also said He came to reveal truth. Those who desire truth will hear, believe, and receive His words. To desire truth is a key because we know that those who are taken captive by the anti-christ spirit refuse to receive a love for truth. To desire and love truth is critical to prepare your heart for the times ahead.

Two people can be in the same room, but one may be living in this world, and the other is conscious of being in the Kingdom of God. One is subject to this world, while the other is subject to the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. A Kingdom perspective will prepare us for the coming King and His glory.

What you believe in is what you live in, and the perspective you see from; When you believe in Christ and His Word, you live in, and see from His perspective.
