4 – The Glory of God – Realize Your Righteous Father – How to Know Truth

What you believe in, is what you live in, and the perspective you see from

We are in the beginning of the Age of Glory on the Earth. Our Righteous Father is the Father of glory (Eph 1:17). The Hebrew word for “glory” is Kabod; it basically means weight. In science it would be the mass of an object of matter. It is the substance of a person or thing. For God, it is who He is—His character, goodness, majesty, splendor, power, righteousness, and justice. It is the environment He dwells in.

And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”, (Isaiah 6:3). The whole earth is filled with the glory of the Lord now, but most people do not know it yet. However, the time is coming when the knowledge of the glory of God will cover the earth. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea, (Habakkuk 2:14). Because of sin and the fall of man we are unaware of the glory of God. When Isaiah was caught up to the throne of God, it was in the presence of the glory of God that he was able to see.

And one called out to another and said, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.” And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke. Then I said, “Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth with it and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:3-8 NASB)

What is happening now is that there is a cleansing of the fire of God purifying His children so they can stand in the glory and be used to reveal our Righteous Father on the earth. Notice the glory reveals the holiness of God and the sinfulness of man. This is the conflict that is happening now on the earth between the light and the darkness.

Because of increasing darkness and increasing revelations of God’s glory it is critical to have spiritual discernment to avoid deception. If we remain in Jesus and keep the eyes of our heart focused on Him, the Holy Spirit will give us the discernment we need. It is important not to judge manifestations of God’s love as being from Satan. Such deception is rooted in unholy fear, which is faith in the power of evil. Faith in God means to trust Him.

The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men], but is now revealed to His holy people (the saints), To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory. (Col 1:26-27 AMPC)

Jesus Christ has deposited His glory in you because He is in you. These things are very profound and should be meditated on until you come into the realization of the promises.

Speaking to the Father, Jesus prayed, “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.” (John 17:22-23 NASB)

In Christ and His Word, the glory of the Father is revealed to us. For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ. (2nd Corinthians 4:6 HCSB)

So, we have the prophetic word made more certain. You do well to pay [close] attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and light breaks through the gloom and the morning star arises in your hearts. (2nd Peter 1:19)

When you are reading the Word from the Bible and the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart through a passage, you need to pay close attention to it. The Holy Spirit wants you to realize that scripture, focus on it until it becomes reality in you. The Word is an impartation of the Word Himself. It is light in you and will grow in brightness the more attention you give it. This is an important part of the transformation process of your heart-soul.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
