I believe that we are living in the most interesting time to be alive, since the time of Adam and Eve. This is an era of the extreme. We have increasingly extreme good happening, but at the same time we are seeing more blatant, extreme evil. Miracles are more common and more remarkable than in the recent past. Many people are experiencing things in the realm of Heaven, having visions and supernatural dreams. This is also becoming more common with more people, and happening more frequently.
At the same time, evil is becoming more intense, darker, and more obvious than I have seen before. It seems that there is increasing demonic activity. We seem to be in a totally new age on Earth. What happened in 2018 that caused some high-level USA newscasters, from a major news network, decide to get drunk on live television, and invite the nation to join them, while ushering in 2019? Is this the new normal?
Many Christians that I know or have heard from say, in the last year, they have had a big increase in spiritual understanding, experiences, and maturity. Often, this has not come easy, it involved different kinds of suffering. In our own family, we had more challenges financially, physically, and in other ways, than before. However, we have also grown much more spiritually than in previous years to the point that, I can only be amazed at the goodness of God, our Father. I have been telling everyone I know, you do not want to miss what God is doing now.
Not only is there more spiritual intensity, good and bad, but it seems to also be accelerating faster than before. Things are changing rapidly. I have been asking the Lord what is happening? Why is everything so different now? It really seems that we have stepped into something new. We have not been this way before. I believe the Lord is saying that we have entered the Age of Glory. The revelation of the glory of God is becoming increasingly clear. This time period will end when the knowledge of the glory of the Lord fills the Earth. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)
The glory of God reveals Him– His power, majesty, splendor, wonder, beauty, creativity and so many other attributes. The glory of God is the manifestation and revelation of His holy love. It reveals His goodness. As we learn more in science, especially in the fields of astronomy, biological sciences, genetics and quantum physics, the glory of God is being revealed in greater ways. The more we discover, the more we are faced with the glory of God. The beauty and order of nature speaks of His glory.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. (Psalms 19:1-2 NIV)
The creation has always revealed the Creator. For His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse. For though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became nonsense, and their senseless minds were darkened. (Romans 1:20-21 HCSB)
The only way for a person to ignore the increasing revelation of the glory of God is to deceive themselves into greater darkness. This explains the blatant evil we are seeing. Ultimately, the glory of God is revealed in Jesus Christ. Those who turn toward the light of Jesus are seeing His glory in increasing brightness. For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6 NASB)
Notice that, it is in your heart the light of the knowledge of the glory of God is revealed, in the face of Christ. Those who turn away from Christ and choose darkness are trying to fool themselves, even to the point of calling good evil and evil good. “This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil”. (John 3:19 HCSB)
The gray area between good and evil is disappearing, people are being forced to choose deep darkness or the brightness of the glory of God, in the face of Jesus the Christ. Jesus gave a parable to illustrate that good and evil would come into maturity together: see Matthew 13:30.
The dividing line between light and darkness is Jesus Christ. Those who are attracted to truth and life are being drawn into union with Christ. Those who are choosing deception and darkness are being drawn into the spirit of anti-christ. There are many spiritual philosophies that try to deceive people away from Jesus, saying that He is just one of the many ways to God. However, the Bible is clear that Jesus is the only way to God, our Father. Yeshua said, “I AM the Way—and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 CJB)
Ultimately, there has never been a better time to be alive on Earth. Despite the desperation of the darkness, it is losing. Darkness is being exposed by the light, and many are turning from darkness to the true light of Jesus Christ. There is more prosperity, opportunity, and good happening now than at any time in history. This is because God is blessing His people and His people are a blessing to the world.
You need to be very careful where you get your news and information from, because deception causes darkness, confusion, and despair in people. Remember, the news behind the news is always spiritual. The darkness can only survive and function through deception. Truth is becoming more important to people as darkness is exposed. Realizing that you have been deceived, and now know the truth causes you to have a higher level of discernment. You become more sensitive to what is truth and what is not.
If the term, “Great Awakening” does not mean anything to you, then you may be unaware of the amazing things beginning to happen in the world. Even more importantly, you may be unaware of what is happening inside you. The Age of Glory is also the Age of the Revealing of the Sons of God.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that is about to be revealed in us. All creation waits in eager expectation for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:18-19)
